Diving Line: prosperity or debt / ww3? 2012 landmark election rolling beyond US boundary: Dr. Ron Paul with CNN on Iran
Question from apolitical minds who have no clue but simply follow instinct: Does Dr. Ron Paul sound like George Washington leading peasants across the Delaware River fighting the Battle of Trenton? Jefferson (together with other Founding Fathers Adams, Franklin...) writing the US Constitution? Churchill stubbornly holding the floor without audience (deserted by his British Parliament peers), insisting on warning about looming WWII? Or Ronald Reagan (who once said, veteran and physician doctor "Ron Paul is one of the outstanding leaders fighting for a stronger national defense. As a former Air Force officer, he knows well the needs of our armed forces, and he always puts them first. We need to keep him fighting for our country!")?

ABC News: Putin warns against 'catastrophic' attack on Iran
Prime minister Vladimir Putin says Russia is concerned about the "growing threat" of an attack on Iran over its nuclear program, warning that the consequences would be "truly catastrophic".
In an article on foreign policy to be published later today, Mr Putin also warned Western and Arab nations against military intervention in Syria. "I very much hope the United States and other countries... do not try to set a military scenario in motion in Syria without sanction from the UN Security Council," Mr Putin said, according to a transcript.
On Iran, he said that "the growing threat of a military strike on this country alarms Russia, no doubt".
"If this occurs, the consequences will be truly catastrophic," he said. "It is impossible to imagine their real scale."

Ron Paul wins the majority of Iowa's Republican delegates
DES MOINES (KWWL) - Two passionate factions spent the day bickering about whom they should support at the national convention. In the end, Ron Paul supporters dominated the final delegate count-- even though Paul isn't actively campaigning for the presidential nomination any more.
At least 21 of the 28 delegates backed Paul, who came in third in the iowa caucuses.
"I think there's a lot of accusation going on. That is needless," Angie Davidson of the Republican Party said at the state convention. "I believe they should be able to vote who they want to vote for especially since we truly don't have a nominee yet."
The party's delegates are "unbound" - meaning even though Iowans voted Rick Santorum as the winner of the caucuses, delegates can still vote for whomever they want at the national convention. Santorum won the caucuses by just 34 votes. Romney placed second with 24 percent of the vote. Paul came in at third place with 21 percent.
Paul's supporters turned out in force at the state convention.
Some republicans tried to pass an amendment that would require delegates to declare who they would support before the national convention to make sure delegates would support Mitt Romney. It, however, failed.

Does God want Ron Paul to be president?
Ron Paul received the endorsement of USA Christian Ministries for president yesterday. The group released a statement from Pastor Steven Andrew saying that “God wants Ron Paul to be President.” Mr. Andrew is the president of USA Christian Ministries.
Citing the deficiencies of both President Obama and presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, Mr. Andrew said “Comparing Ron Paul, Mitt Romney and Barack Obama, we see Paul will cut the deficit $1 trillion in year one, but Obama and Romney would increase the deficit. Americans will have more jobs with Paul.”
Citing the upcoming Nebraska primary, Mr. Andrew implored the delegates to “obey God” and choose Rep. Paul.

[Examiner] - RNC confirms Ron Paul will be up for nomination
The Republican National Convention is quickly approaching (August 26th). For over the past year, avid Ron Paul supporters have won delegate spots in various state conventions across the country. Through this hard-work, Ron Paul will officially be allowed to be nominated for the nominee of the Republican Party.
For the past three days, Ben Swann (Fox19 Cincinnati) has been in contact with a Republican Rules Committee member. In order for a candidate to be elected for the Republican Party nomination, the candidate must have a plurality in five or more states. If by rule, binding and non-binding policies are applied to delegates, it would still not affect the process of voting for placement of a candidate's name into the potential nominee ballot. Presidential hopeful Ron Paul does have a plurality in five or more states (Nevada, Maine, Minnesota, Louisiana, and Iowa). This means that Ron Paul will be eligible for nomination on August 26th in Tampa Bay.
100,000+ supporters will be meeting in Tampa in order to celebrate Paul's 30+ year career in American politics. However, the Republican National Committee senses pressure from the Paul supporters. The RNC has attempted to block access in order to make the convention as exclusive as possible.
Ben Swann conducted an interview with members of the RNC Rules Committee and they did answer the questions with the previous information. However, due to the RNC being a private organization they are not subject to following by their "rules" or "statements." Whether the RNC abides by their statements, we will find out this August.
...with assurance that Ron Paul has the potential to be nominated. Whether or not Paul does win the nomination, we are all in for something special this August.
