Prince Harry’s moving Christmas card photo honors World War II Royal Air Force fighter pilot. The touching story behind - Harry recalled meeting WWII veteran Tom Neil as one of his "most memorable moments" of 2015, which is why it felt right to put it on the card. For his annual holiday missive, Harry chose a snap taken of him with a veteran at the Battle of Britain commemorative event he attended in September. (You'll recall his major Top Gun moment striding around in that flight suit).

Prince Harry's Very Touching Official Christmas Card - Harry and Neil, his "most memorable moments" of 2015 meeting a Hurricane ace Tom Neil, 95, in Battle of British, wwii
Kensington Palace released the Prince's card in a tweet which features him standing next to a fighter plane with Tom Neil, a 95-year-old Battle of Britain veteran, at the pilot's seat. The photo is shot in black and white and shows a very pleased looking Harry and Neil, who looks like he is on cloud nine. The palace captioned the photo, "Merry Christmas from Prince Harry! Here's his Christmas card photo showing one of his favorite moments from 2015."

Tom Neil, wwii ace pilot, at 95, still remembers brave voices (1 vs 12 head-on): "I can still remember my brave friends' voices" - 75 years on, a Hurricane ace remembers the Battle of Britain - "when I joined No 249 Squadron, I was one of the young ones, only 19 years old. And an opportunity to defend the nation came swiftly, on a brilliantly fine day in early July 1940, just before what is considered the official start of the Battle of Britain – the 75th anniversary of which I am proud to mark today with fellow veterans at Buckingham Palace…"

NASA: Here are a few fun facts about the event and our moon:
- The moon’s peak this year will occur at 6:11 a.m. EST
- As you gaze up at the Christmas moon, take note that we have a spacecraft currently orbiting Earth’s moon. Our Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) mission has been investigating the lunar surface since 2009
- More than 100 spacecraft have been launched to explore the moon
- Our moon is the only celestial body beyond Earth that has been visited by human beings..so far!
- Twelve human beings have walked on the surface of the moon
- The moon makes a complete orbit around Earth in 27 Earth days and rotates or spins at the same rate. This causes the moon to keep the same side, or face, towards Earth during the course of its orbit
- The moon is the brightest and largest feature in the night sky. Venus is second

@Discovery - Sole Christmas Full Moon for Six Decades Rises This Year. December's full moon is also known as the Full Cold Moon. In the Northern Hemisphere, the winter solstice will occur on Dec. 22 at 11:48 a.m. ET.

@abc
It's going to be a warm Christmas:
- NYC: 72°
- D.C.: 77°
- Raleigh: 78°
- Atlanta: 74°

Unseasonable Greetings in New York Searching for Jack Frost - White Christmas in NYC? Not a chance with December shaping up to be the most abnormally warm month ever recorded. Some holiday spirit goes missing along with the snow. “It messes with your energy,” said Mabrac Matthews, a clothing designer in Flatbush, Brooklyn. “I haven’t bought a damn thing for anyone,” said Justin Brannan, who runs an art program for children in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. This would be an unusually warm December in Jackson, Miss., or Atlanta, or El Paso, on the Mexican border. In New York City, it is shaping up to be the most abnormally warm month ever recorded, by a lot.

@BBCWorld - Wow, that was close! Skier Marcel Hirscher almost hit by camera drone in World Cup slalom. Four-time defending overall World Cup champion Marcel Hirscher narrowly avoided being hit by a drone during an Alpine slalom race in Italy on Tuesday. The Austrian was on his second run when a drone carrying a camera crashed onto the slope centimetres behind him. "This is horrible," said Hirscher, 26. "This can never happen again. This can be a serious injury." Despite the incident, Hirscher finished in second place, 1.25 seconds behind Norway's Henrik Kristoffersen.

ABC News - A champion professional skier used to battling extremely dangerous terrains on the slopes was forced to deal with a danger from the sky when a drone nearly fell on him during a World Cup race. Marcel Hirscher was skiing an Alpine slalom race in Italy Tuesday when a drone carrying a camera crashed onto the slope just behind him.

CNN - lucky escape! Drone crashes onto piste, misses champion skier by inches. Defending World Cup champion Marcel Hirscher had a lucky escape Tuesday after he narrowly avoided being hit by a falling drone. The 26-year-old -- who won silver in the slalom at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics -- was on his second run in a World Cup slalom race at Madonna di Campiglio in Italy when a remote-controlled drone with a mounted camera slammed down on the piste inches behind him. Lucky escape!

It is quite interesting on research of the moon, which is fun to hear. And I congratulate the Marcel Hirscher for his winning in the skiing competition. Keep sharing your stories.
